What is the difference between netbook and laptop?

With the introduction of netbooks people are so confused, because they can’t decide whether to buy a laptop or a netbook or they didn’t know the difference between laptops and net books. A strong question comes in their mind that is what is the difference between netbook and laptop? Here is some factor that will help you to identify the difference between them.

Netbook

Net books are very small and lightweight. It comes with a 7-13 inch screen size. It’s weight is less than 1 kg.netbooks have a longer battery life 4-10 hours. The netbooks are easy to carrying around and working from anywhere.Netbooks doesn’t have built in DVD drive. The keyboard of netbooks are too small. So it is difficult to type long essays and data with a netbook keyboard.

Laptop

Laptop is more powerful than a netbook.it can perform variety of functions such as you can watch and burn DVD, play games, listen music etc.Laptops are comes with a screen size of  13-18 inch. The keyboard makes comfortable to type data with a laptop.

Advantages

2. Full size keyboard

3. Built in DVD drive

Disadvantages

1. Comparatively larger and heavier  

2. Shorter battery life

The decision about whether to buy a laptop or netbook is depends upon your needs. If you are traveler and required to do tasks while you journey, then netbooks are the best choice for you. If u want a computer that can perform variety of functions and need to play games and watch movies with more comfort, then laptop is suitable for you.
